Plot

Dr. Hiroaki Nakagawa’s nightmares of the 1945 bombing of Hiroshima and the 1958 revolution in Cuba lead him to visit the Caribbean island in the year 1995.  He finds a Cuba frozen in time in the 1950s.

During his visit, Hiro falls in love not only with the Cuban culture but also with Dania who helps him learn to live in the moment instead of living in the world of computers and codes.

With his mind no longer burdened by nightmares and his humanity restored, Hiro develops a computer which can duplicate a person’s entire memory system.

Recruited by Cuba’s highest-ranking general to teach him how to hack into the US intelligence community’s top secret documents, Hiro instructs the general while simultaneously hijacking the general’s memory and implanting the ultimate computer war game into his brain.

Through Hiro’s friendship with the general, he learns that Fidel’s vision and the reality of life in Cuba do not match.  Thus, Hiro’s plan to create freedom and change the lives of Cubans forever is born.
